White Pine
Located in the Seven Dials market food court, we worked with our client to create his second store, White Pine, a Nordic Lifestyle brand combining Scandinavian inspired home and gift items. They also stock and serve delicious vegan snacks including juices, hot drinks, healthy sandwiches, and other nutritious treats.

The Works
GS Contracts undertook the complete fit-out of this Nordic lifestyle store in just 6 weeks, carrying out electrical works, plumbing, steel fabrication, wall finishes and the manufacture and installation of all bespoke joinery items.
Upon entrance, customers are greeted with an array of gift items in a large display unit manufactured and installed by the GS team – full of great items to purchase.
Our manufacturing team produced all display joinery across the store, including LED-lit units, fridge units and a standalone sink unit for customers to test and try products.
Venetian plaster was used on many of the walls throughout the store, with a distinctive Scandinavian colour palette of greens and blues, tying into all of the other unique Nordic features.
Filled with luscious green plants and succulents for sale, the rear of the store offers a snug seating area for customers to enjoy a light bite to eat and drink.
Challenges
Located on the outskirts of Covent Garden, an area always teeming with crowds of shoppers and tourists, this project proved challenging when it came to deliveries on site. However, our team worked well with one another to ensure all safety requirements were adhered to.
Being a small and compact shop meant our team had to tailor the program accordingly so that subcontractors were given adequate space and protection, whilst maintaining a high quality standard of work.

We are proud to have successfully fitted and delivered this Scandinavian wellness store for our client, turning his unique and colourful design visions into a reality.
