Colicci’s The Pheasantry Cafe
Welcome to the newly refurbished Pheasantry Cafe nestled away in the beautiful Bushy Park!
We're thrilled to announce the reopening of the Pheasantry Cafe, now with a fresh new look.
The Pheasantry is the perfect stop-off after a relaxing walk in the park with a range of delicious food and drink options to choose from.
It was a pleasure being appointed as the main contractor for the refurbishment works of this cafe, working closely with the Article Design Team to help bring the space to life!
The Works
Our team completely overhauled the existing restaurant, with new flooring, electrics and finishes to to give the space a fresh look.
Colicci introduced temporary pop-up kiosks offering food and drinks to visitors following their walk in the Woodland Gardens whilst we got to work inside.
The new and improved Pheasantry Cafe has introduced a new ice-cream parlour, which can be accessed through the recently installed bi-fold doors.
All custom joinery and solid surface features were manufactured and installed by our team, directly from our spacious 20,000 sq ft workshop located in Colchester.
The bar area consists of Brick Slip tiles to the front of the counter encompassed with a Dekton top; and the back bar built-in units were manufactured from stainless steel.
Challenges
We spoke with Project Manager Liam Saunders to uncover more about running this fantastic project.
Liam told us ‘Working on this project was an enjoyable experience for our team, especially as we’re used to working in built-up, urban environments- it was a nice change of scenery’.
‘We were surrounded by wild deer and birds which was lovely to be around, although it did mean we faced the unexpected challenge of keeping the ducks and other birds from entering our site!’
Our team thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this project for Colicci and looks forward to what they have in store for us next!
