In May, we began work on a full fit-out for a new client in Bristol: Japanese restaurant Yakinori, which opened to customers at the start of July. Yakinori is the sister-company of Woktastic (based in Birmingham). This is their third branch, located in Park Street in the centre of Bristol. We recently completed a full interior fit-out for a new Middle-Eastern restaurant in London: Bala Baya. The restaurant is located in the heart of Southwark, near the old Union Street arches. Bala Baya serves authentic Middle Eastern cuisine throughout the day, with a quick-stop bakery and signature pitta snacks, sit-down lunches and brunches, plus a full restaurant service and cocktail bar in the evenings. We recently completed a manufacturing and installation project for our client Tombo: they wanted our help creating a pop-up café bar for a concession area within Liberty’s – the famous department store in Regent Street, London. The project included manufacturing several bespoke mobile counters. Tombo started out as an authentic Japanese restaurant in South Kensington, which we fitted back in 2010. We have just completed the entire fit-out for Farmer J – a new eatery opening this week on Leadenhall St, in the City (just behind the Gherkin). Farmer J is an all-day market dining restaurant offering healthy, filling and fast food, from breakfasts, snacks and salads to char-grilled meat, fish and vegetable Field Tray lunches.
