Luke wins ECTA Excellent Trainee award!

We’re delighted to announce that one of our staff, Luke Carter, has won the Carpentry and Joinery category of Excellent Trainees at the 2016 Essex Construction Training Association (ECTA) Awards. Apprentice Brandon wins first place in UK Pro BMX Series 2016!

At the end of August, our apprentice Brandon Harrison won 1st place in the final round of the 2016 UK Pro Park BMX Series, and became the overall 2016 UK Pro Park BMX Champion! Brandon has been competing in Pro BMX championships for some time now, and GS Contracts became his official sponsor last year. Project News: Colchester Archaeological Trust Roman Circus

This month we did some unusual work for Colchester Archaeological Trust: we manufactured some large metal cut-out figures for the Roman Circus Visitor Centre in Colchester. The Centre is the site of Britain’s only known Roman Circus chariot-racing track. Visitors can see the remains of the original circus and a variety of archaeological finds, with interactive displays and a large-scale model of the circus.
