Project News: Antique Wine Company

We’re very excited about our recent project for the Antique Wine Company, a leading fine wine merchant that also offers a range of exclusive wine-tasting events. We’ve been doing some unique and highly bespoke work for their new Wine Academy at their premises in Queen Anne St, London, including a reception counter, bar, wine glass rack and a selection of different tables. The work has been done in conjunction with our colleagues at Concept Bars.

We’ve created some highly-unusual bespoke tasting tables for their Wine Academy. Each table uses two Bordeaux wine barrels, beneath a curved table-top made from Alpine White HI-MACS® – with a glass disc inset above each barrel, so that the barrel top is visible (and illuminated by LED lighting).

The Tasting Room bar is made from oak veneer and HI-MACS® in Alpine White. The back bar incorporates a double-door bottle cooler, cupboard and sink, with an wine-glass rack in the upper unit, where wine-glasses are suspended from stainless steel rods, against a grey smoked mirror. The stand-alone front bar consists of a curved oak veneer unit with HI-MACS® Alpine White top and brushed aluminium plinth. The Antique Wine Company name and logo appear on the front with a brass finish.
