Project News: Zaza (Canada Place)
We recently manufactured and installed another counter for Zaza – a company that produces authentic Italian ice-cream. The counter is located in Canada Place (just outside Waitrose) at Canary Wharf, London.
The initial concept design was provided by Afroditi Krassa, who designed Zaza‘s new retail identity, branding and signage. We manufactured curved counter-tops from marble, and covered the sides in mosaic tiles imported from Thailand.
The counter was custom-built to accommodate Zaza‘s own ice-cream making facility, since all their ice-cream is prepared freshly on-site every day. We also needed to allow room to incorporate a lot of specific catering equipment – not to mention enough display space for their huge range of ice-cream flavours!
