Project News: Tombo Japanese Deli
Earlier this year we completed the interior for Tombo. Tombo is an authentic Japanese deli that has opened in the museum district in South Kensington, London – and a new venture for husband-and-wife team Colin and Manami Sloley.
Tombo sells a range of food made freshly in-store every day to eat in or take away – look out for their speciality Matcha Latté (a sweet green tea latté) and some fantastic green tea cakes!
The shop had previously been a clothes store, so we built and fitted out the whole interior, which was designed in conjunction with Toh Shimazaki Architecture. The final touches included Japanese ceramics and designer furniture, to give the restaurant a fresh and inviting feel.
